An adventure of a lifetime

I have been on treks two times to Mount Everest Base Camp up the Khumbu Valley in the Himalayan Region of Nepal.  First off, no matter who takes you on this experience of a lifetime, it is the most spiritual, physical and culturally rewarding thing that I have ever done-it is just a truly magical experience in one of the great places on earth.  My first trip was with western guides and it was a fantastic experience-I could not have been happier.  Until I did this trek with Grand Himalaya two years later… from the time that they pick you up at the airport until they drop you back off, their attention to your comfort and enjoyment while taking you much deeper into the cultural experience of the mountains and the Sherpa life far surpass anything that western guides are trained or experienced to do.  The only way to do this trip is with ‘the locals’!
